Building on Renaissance art, Caravaggio's style, called Baroque Art, added dramatic light and dark. Caravaggio's dramatic works of art seek to capture emotion. In this box, students will study and appreciate Caravaggio's works, Boy With Basket of Fruit and The Calling of St. Matthew. Students will then recreate a still life Basket of Fruit using chalk pastels. This art box includes materials for two students to complete the art project.
